On Friday, April 12, the UT Science Forum hosted a lecture by Stephanie Drumheller-Horton, Ph.D, on crocodylian bite marks in the fossil record. Drumheller-Horton graduated from UT in 2005 and is currently a lecturer at the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences.

Saturday, April 13, the McClung Museum of Natural History and Culture will be hosting an interactive event centered around their latest exhibit, the Splendid Treasures of the Turkomen Tribes from Central Asia. This event is free for all who attend and consists of a series of family-oriented activities pertaining to the exhibit.

On Thursday, April 11, Temple Grandin and Hal Herzog will give free public talks at the 3rd International Veterinary Social Work Summit. The talk will be given at the Knoxville Convention Center from 7p.m. to 9 p.m. Grandin and Herzog will also be selling and signing books before and after.

UT Recycling department hosted the Go Green Fair today on Pedestrian Walkway. Environmental organizations on campus joined together to inform students about eco-friendly possibilities in honor of Earth Month in April. Students have displayed an excitability to be a part of this movement to better the condition of their world.

Volunteer Research Group and New Orleans Center for Clinical Research is accepting applicants for their Healthy Male Studies. Volunteers are paid for their time, effort and inconvenience with a stipend of $200 per day spent within their in-patient study unit at UT Medical Center.
